This was a project for a client that wanted to convert a warehouse space into a fitness facility with an office space and kitchen on the second level. In the fitness area we were tasked with adding in a fully handicap accessible shower to the existing washroom, mechanical air circulation, improved LED lighting, and a new ultra quiet electrical isolation transformer. For the second floor the client requested a feature wall with a realistic greenery wall, a modern colour concept kitchen with floating shelves and a mobile island light enough to be easily moved.

For the second floor the client requested a feature wall with a realistic greenery wall, a modern colour concept kitchen with floating shelves and a mobile island light enough to be easily moved.

One of the challenges was improving the lighting in the fitness space so that it would be an even distribution with maximum lumen ratings as well as individual dimming control all while not blowing the budget. The challenge was on! After talking to several major international lighting companies we found they could not meet our budget and delivery deadlines. After testing different local products we finally found a company that would deliver what we were looking for, while maintaining comparable light outputs.

The design of the home utilized white acrylic and rift white oak.

As the main property feature we envisioned something that would be a wow factor that very few other homes, if any, would have the same concept.

The idea came whilst touring the slab company and a sample of the Quartz was on display. After inquiring about the slab and learning about its translucent capabilities we knew this would be the perfect feature wall.

The design of the home utilized white acrylic and rift white oak. To tie things together we were able to source pure white oak planks to use for the arch.

As you can see in the photo, that overlooked detail by other builders which we sought to address has added a huge bonus to the space, as well as an awesome design feature.
